A . Setting the unit to pedestrian and off road modes to approach a cache.

If you had to drive to a cache site, you proabably won’t be following a road for the last part of your trip. Here is how you set the unit to Pedestrian and Off Road modes for a direct route to the cache

1. Click on the Tools wrench icon on the main screen.

2. On the Tools menu, press Settings.

3. On the Settings menu, press System.

4. On the System Settings screen, press the Usage Mode button which probably says Auomobile.

5. On the Usage Mode screen, press the radio button next to Pedestrian. Then press OK.

6. You will see that the unit is in Pedestrian mode. Press Back.

7. Now press Navigation from the Settings Menu.

8. On the Navigation Settings screen, press the Route Preference button which probably says Faster Time.

9. On the Route Preference screen, press the radio button beside Off Road. Press OK.

10. Press Back on the Navigation Settings screen.
11. Press Back on the Settings menu.
12. Press Back on the Tools menu and you will be back to the Main Screen.
